Original palette knife painting 30” x 40” oil on canvas. This is a photo titled “Blown Tree” by photographer David Waters. It’s for the Dual Vision show at the TAV Gallery. This photo took my breath away. The dramatic sky! The movement, the energy, the contrast, the composition - this photo has it all. It made my painterly heart excited when I saw it. I wanted to see if I could capture all of that in my style of painting.
